Bungie interviewed Mr. Jukes, one of the serious closed beta testers, self-admitting to playing 1100 games prior to the release of the beta to the rest of us. Visit the Bungie link to read (you should read!) the interview.
I reckon it looks great! I've never been a big Halo fan - its always felt just like a generic FPS with larger maps. I've never really enjoyed FPS on a console either - a mouse and keyboard provide better accuracy and control in an FPS. So here's a hoping that the controls are nice =D
