Its better than average. But its not brilliant.
Its a lot of fun playing with people you know. But limited to 8 players a map just isnt enough. 3 maps? We need more... =D
As an FPS, it is made well graphically, and the controls are responsive. I have a few gripes.
Gripe 1: FPS suck with analog controls. I'm a mouse/keyboard guy (3hrs a day for the first 3 months of BF2142 shows that), and either they're too responsive or not responsive enough.
Gripe 2: Why do we have to HOLD RB to pick up weapons, or get in and out of vehicles? I want a one button press. Or just a straight drop/auto pickup feature. -_-
Apart from that, its all you expect from an FPS. Lets just hope that when it's released we get a lot more maps, and a lot more online players =D
