XBLA: Prince of Persia

"Ubisoft has officially announced today that it will be releasing the original Prince of Persia, now Prince of Persia Classic, on Xbox LIVE Arcade early this summer. Developed by Gameloft, Prince of Persia Classic has a “brand-new coat of paint with character designs, animations, visuals and lighting effects, giving the game a close to 3D look. To freshen the gameplay experience, new traps, puzzles and enemies have also been added."

I played PoP once, when it was black/white and in DoS. I wasnt impressed, so I'll be checking the demo of this one before playing.

5500 MS Points to spend

I'm expecting my *box back today, and in the past month, got hold of 5500 MS points. Question now is, what to get?

Well I have the following:

Uno
Worms
Backgammon
Gauntlet
Texas Hold 'em
Wik
Outpost Kaloki X
Geometry Wars
Boom Boom Rocket
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Hexic
Bejeweled 2
Robotron: 2084

These either due to Live Arcade Unplugged, bundled with something I bought, or I bought with MS Points.

So what can I get for 5500? I was thinking along the lines of:

400 Galaga
400 New Rally-X
800 Doom
800 Catan
800 3D Mini Golf
800 Crackdown DLC

Thats 4000 MS points there. Given that I want Undertow, maybe I'll save 800 for that. This leaves 700 - should I get Double Dragon? Paperboy? will they release new tracks for Boom Boom Rocket? These choices are sent to test us! =D

XBLA: Undertow

Its a mix between Battlefield 2/2142/2:MC and Geometry Wars. Rumour is that it should be out in the next 6 weeks or so. It goes straight to the top of my list. Nuff said!

XBLA: Bomberman LIVE

Recent posts around the web are announcing a new breed of Bomberman to the 360 - this time in the form of an XBLA game, Bomberman LIVE.

I love the quote from Xbox 360 Fanboy:

"Yup, it's old school Bomberman that will be hitting the XBLA this Summer in all its glory with eight player versus to boot. They actually listened to their fans and hopefully will not be creating anymore Bomberman: Act Zero sequels anytime soon."

In my opinion, it looks like some fast paced fun, and the 8 player online should be great too. Fingers crossed the achievements aren't like *play an 8-player game* (most XBLA online games lose participants after a couple weeks), but more like *Win 10 games online*.

I've Bomberman: Act Zero on my shelf, waiting to be played when my *box comes back fixed. I've not heard any positives, so we'll see. But hopefully Bomberman LIVE will be 800 MS points or less, and contains some sort of single player mode.
